Other Ten Percent 3/29/13

Mar 29 2013

I was worried I didn’t have enough entries for today. I had 27. Cutting those down to 10 was actually kinda tough. Working out of my dad’s office to get some writing done today which is great except the software I use to write scripts won’t load the installer’s disk image and it’s literally JUST the images for that software and it doesn’t matter what version of the software or where I download it from. It is incredibly weird. So I’m just giving up and writing in a physical notebook today because why not. Still nice to have a place I can come to get work done.

J. Michael Straczynski teams up with the Wachowskis for a new scifi TV series on Netflix
I…this feels like a disaster waiting to happen to other people too right? Like on my list of “great creators who need to be kept as far away from creative freedom as humanly possible” these guys are like 2-4 on my top five. Maybe they’ll just fight with each other constantly though and make an amazing show that way?

This project is interesting to me because sometimes I prefer the comic and sometimes I prefer the tweet and I cannot figure out any formula that explains why.
